First Photo Shoot

Aunt Alyse stopped by to visit Elsie Monday.  While she was here she was nice enough to show off some of her beautiful skills with a camera.  Elsie doesn't really enjoy being dressed up right now, but as long as there aren't too many costume changes, she is pretty content.

Visitors

We had several visitors this weekend.  Mingi and Grandpa Lew, Mimi and Grandpa Dale, Ma and Pa, Ashley, Ben, Addison, and Landon all came by to say hi to Elsie.  It was a busy weekend but great to see all our family again.

Firsts

Elsie enjoyed her first bath, first walk in the stroller, and first visit to the park.  All of these firsts started with quite a bit of screaming but ended in peaceful sleep.  She didn't even notice all the bumps that we hit on our road during the walk.

Coming Home

We found a picture of Grandpa Lew from shortly after her birth.

It was a long night for mom and dad.  Elsie wanted to eat all night long with only 30 minute breaks = no sleep.  She didn't like getting pictures done at the hospital and now we can't log in to that site anyway so, looking back, we probably should have skipped that part.

We got dressed up in her finest clothes, put her in the car seat and came home.  She didn't really like the car seat at first but she didn't cry the whole way home.  Mom and Dad got some sleep when we were home because Mingi was able to spend most of the day with us.

She is a doll.  We are enjoying every minute of it.
